The success of a construction project is highly influenced by the accuracy of scheduling and the suitability of cost planning. To prevent project delays and cost overruns, a rescheduling analysis was conducted on the Denanyar–Sendangrejo Road Construction Project using the Gantt Chart and Line of Balance (LoB) methods. This study aims to analyze and determine the effectiveness of project duration in relation to project costs. The analysis was carried out through the calculation of labor-hour requirements, workforce grouping, determination of activity start times, and buffer time allocation. The results indicate that the Line of Balance (LoB) method produces a shorter project duration, requiring only 58 days compared to 77 days using the Gantt Chart method, with an effectiveness value of 24.68%. In terms of cost, the LoB method results in a project cost of IDR 485,430,365.41, which is 0.82% more efficient than the Gantt Chart method, with a cost of IDR 489,430,383.41. Therefore, the Line of Balance (LoB) method is proven to be more effective in reducing project duration and more efficient in minimizing project implementation costs.
