Copyright and License Policy
Journal of Green Science and Technology (JGST) applies an author-retained copyright model.
Copyright
Authors retain copyright in their published articles.
Copyright transfer to JGST, the Faculty of Engineering, or Universitas Swadaya Gunung Jati is not required as a condition of publication.
By agreeing to publication of an accepted manuscript, the author(s) grant JGST the right of first publication and a non-exclusive authorization to publish, reproduce, distribute, archive, preserve, index, and make the article publicly available as part of the scholarly record.
This authorization does not transfer copyright ownership to the journal or publisher. Authors retain the right to reuse, distribute, deposit, and archive their work in accordance with the applicable license terms.
License
Articles published under the current JGST licensing policy are distributed under the Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike 4.0 International License (CC BY-SA 4.0), unless otherwise stated on the individual article.
Under this license, users may:
- share and redistribute the material in any medium or format;
- adapt, remix, transform, and build upon the material for any purpose, including commercial purposes;
provided that appropriate credit is given to the author(s) and the original publication, a link to the license is provided, any changes are indicated, and derivative works are distributed under the same or a compatible license as required by CC BY-SA 4.0.
Historical Articles
Articles published under earlier licensing arrangements remain subject to the license displayed in the official article metadata or published version at the time of publication. The current licensing policy does not retroactively alter the terms that applied to previously published articles.
Third-Party Material
Figures, photographs, tables, datasets, maps, or other materials owned by third parties may be subject to separate copyright or licensing conditions.
Authors are responsible for obtaining any permission required for the reuse of third-party material and for clearly identifying material that is excluded from the article's Creative Commons license.
