Copyright and License

Authors who publish in JNPM (Jurnal Nasional Pendidikan Matematika) agree to the following terms.

1. Copyright and Publication Rights

Authors transfer copyright in their articles to JNPM and grant the journal the right of first publication. Authors remain credited as the creators of their work and are responsible for its originality and integrity.

Authors confirm that they have the authority to authorize publication and licensing, including obtaining permission to use third-party material where required.

2. Publication License

Articles are published under the Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike 4.0 International License (CC BY-SA 4.0).

This license allows anyone to:

  • Share: Copy and redistribute the material in any medium or format.

  • Adapt: Remix, transform, and build upon the material for any purpose, including commercial use.

These permissions are subject to the following conditions:

  • Attribution: Users must give appropriate credit to the authors and publication source, provide a link to the license, and indicate any changes. Attribution must not imply that the authors or journal endorse the user or the use.

  • ShareAlike: If adapted material is distributed, contributions to the adaptation must be licensed under CC BY-SA 4.0 or a license designated as compatible by Creative Commons.

  • No additional restrictions: Users must not impose legal terms or technological restrictions that prevent others from exercising the permissions granted by the license.

These permissions cannot be revoked as long as users comply with the license terms.

3. Third-Party Material

Third-party material expressly excluded from the article’s license remains subject to the rights holder’s terms. Users are responsible for obtaining additional permission where necessary. Privacy, moral rights, or other rights may also limit particular uses.

4. Article Sharing

Authors may share their published articles through institutional repositories, personal websites, and scholarly platforms in accordance with the applicable license. Shared copies must acknowledge the original publication in JNPM and include the article’s DOI or official URL and licensing information.
