Profil Berpikir Probabilistik dalam Pemecahan Materi Peluang Kejadian Berdasarkan Self-efficacy

Di era modern ini diperlukan kemampuan berpikir. Seseorang yang menghadapai masalah ketidakpastian dalam berpikir probabilisik memerlukan banyak pertimbangan untuk memutuskan keputusan. Pemecahan masalahan probabilistik merupakan bagian berpikir tingkat tinggi, karena diperlukan banyak pertimbangan. Tujuan penelitin adalah untuk mendeskripsikan kemampuan berpikir probabilistik calon guru matematika dalam pemecahan masalah probabilistik berdasarkan perspektif self-efficacy. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian kualitatif diskriptif dengan subjeknya dari mahasiswa matematika berdasarkan kemampuan self-efficacy tinggi, sedang dan rendah, dengan instrument penelitian berupa angket self-efficacy, tes tulis dan pedoman wawancara. Teknik analisis data dari hasil tes tertulis dan hasil wawancara ditarik kesimpulan dengan mengikuti proses: (1) reduksi data, (2) sajian data; dan (3) penarikan kesimpulan dan verifikasi. Berdasarkan hasil analisis berpikir probabilistik didapatkan subjek self-efficacy tinggi untuk materi ruang sampel di level numerik, dan materi kejadian dan probabilistik di level kuantitatif informal cenderung ke level  numerik. Subjek self-efficacy tengah untuk materi ruang sampel di level numerik, dan materi kejadian dan probabilistik di level subjektif. Subjek self-efficacy rendah untuk materi ruang sampel berada level subjektif, dan materi kejadian dan probabilistik di level subjektif cenderung ke level transional.
