Caruban: Jurnal Ilmiah Ilmu Pendidikan Dasar is a peer-reviewed academic journal that focuses on research, scholarly studies, and educational innovations in the field of elementary education. Caruban considers manuscripts that provide:
Original empirical research with clear theoretical and/or practical contributions;
Systematic and structured literature reviews that synthesize current research and identify research gaps;
Conceptual and theoretical studies that advance understanding of issues in elementary education;
Design and development studies that present rigorous educational innovations;
Research-based educational practices supported by systematic evidence; and
Innovative approaches to teaching, learning, assessment, and teacher education relevant to elementary education.
Manuscripts should demonstrate a clear and substantive connection to elementary education. Studies that focus exclusively on secondary, higher, or adult education without a meaningful implication for elementary education are generally outside the scope of the journal.
Manuscripts are expected to demonstrate appropriate theoretical grounding, methodological rigor, ethical research practices, and a clear contribution to the development of knowledge or practice in elementary education.
Caruban welcomes studies conducted in Indonesia and other countries. International, comparative, interdisciplinary, and contextually grounded studies are particularly encouraged when they provide insights that are relevant to the broader field of elementary education.
