Author Fees

Caruban: Jurnal Ilmiah Ilmu Pendidikan Dasar applies a transparent publication fee policy to support the editorial management, peer-review, editing, and publication processes of scholarly articles.

The journal does not charge any publication fee for the first 12 pages of an article, including pages containing the reference list.

1. Publication Fees

The publication fee policy is as follows:

Therefore, articles with a final length of 12 pages or fewer, including the reference list, are published free of charge.

For articles exceeding 12 pages, the fee is charged only for the pages exceeding the 12-page limit.

The page count is calculated based on the final version of the manuscript after peer review, revision, editorial processing, and formatting for publication, using the official Caruban manuscript template.

2. No Submission Fee

Caruban does not charge a submission fee.

Authors may submit manuscripts through the journal's OJS platform without paying any fee at the time of submission.

3. No Peer-Review Fee

Caruban does not charge authors for the peer-review process.

Manuscripts are reviewed in accordance with the journal's editorial policy and its double-blind peer-review system.

4. Page-Based Publication Fee

A publication fee is applicable only when the final article exceeds 12 pages.

The fee is calculated based on the number of pages exceeding the first 12 pages, at a rate of:

IDR 100,000 (one hundred thousand Indonesian rupiah) per page.

The reference list is considered part of the article and is included in the total page count.

5. Payment Schedule

If a publication fee applies, the corresponding author will be informed of the applicable amount after the manuscript has completed the editorial process.

Payment is required after the manuscript has been accepted for publication (accepted) and before the article proceeds to final publication.

The journal management will provide official payment instructions.

6. Publication Fees and Editorial Decisions

Payment of publication fees does not influence editorial decisions or peer-review outcomes.

Decisions regarding acceptance, revision, or rejection are based on the manuscript's scholarly quality, relevance to the journal's focus and scope, originality, methodological rigor, academic contribution, and peer-review results.

7. Fee Waiver or Adjustment

Under specific circumstances, the editor or journal management may consider a request for a publication fee waiver or adjustment based on relevant considerations.

Any fee waiver or adjustment request will not influence the scholarly evaluation or editorial decision regarding the manuscript.

8. Fee Transparency

Caruban is committed to applying its publication fee policy consistently and transparently.

There are no hidden publication charges beyond those stated on this Author Fees page.

Authors who require clarification regarding publication fees or page-count calculations are encouraged to contact the journal's editorial office.
