Focus and Scope
RILL is a peer reviewed journal published triannualy in January, May, and September. RILL is organized and published by Lembaga Penelitian (The Institute of Research) Universitas Swadaya Gunung Djati Cirebon, Indonesia in collaboration with AsiaCALL, Thailand with p-ISSN 2614-5960 and e-ISSN 2615-4137
RILL accepts and publishes multidisciplinary research and critical review of issues on applied linguistics, language teaching and literature in the context of first, second and foreign Language. RILL disseminates both theoretical and empirical research reports regarding language learning-related issues in Indonesia and other countries that cover the fields of:
- First and Second (Foreign) Language Acquisition including Indonesian Language, Javanese, Sundanese, Malay, Arabic, Russian, Japanese, Mandarin, etc.,
- TESOL/ TEFL,
- Indonesian Language (Bahasa Indonesia),
- BIPA (Teaching Bahasa Indonesia to Speakers of Other Languages),
- Linguistics (Pragmatics & Literature),
- CALL (Computer Assisted Language Learning),
- Language Curriculum,
- Language Assessment and Evaluation.
All manuscripts must be written in English and will be undergone a double-blind review.

Peer Review Process
RILL employes a double blind review meaning that both the reviewer and author identities are concealed from the reviewers, and vice versa, throughout the review process. The paper will be peer-reviewed by three experts; one is chief editor and the other two are the reviewers.
All received manuscripts will be involved in an initial screening process relating to the standard format and its relevancy to the RILL scope and research areas. First, after received the manuscript, the editor-in-chief will assign section editor to do the screening process. The initial screening results will be sent within 2 weeks after submission by the section editor. The author%2
Publication Frequency
RILL is published three times a year in the months of January, May, and September.
Open Access Policy
This journal provides immediate open access to its content on the principle that making research freely available for public to support a greater global exchange of knowledge.
Archiving
This journal utilizes the LOCKSS system to create a distributed archiving system among participating libraries and permits those libraries to create permanent archives of the journal for purposes of preservation and restoration.
Research and Innovation in Language Learning also stores back issues and current articles following LOCKSS idea of keeping lots of copies of our items on several servers to keep them safe. Archives are digitally submitted to Indonesian National Library's Garuda. Published issues are also sent to Lembaga Ilmu Pengetahuan Indonesia (LIPI), the Indonesian Institute of Sciences to be retained in its repository.Â
