EKSPLORASI PENGGUNAAN PLATFORM PEMBELAJARAN ONLINE GOOGLE CLASSROOM DALAM MATA PELAJARAN EKONOMI

Abstrak

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi manfaat, tantangan, dan peluang penggunaan platform pembelajaran online google classroom dalam mendukung pembelajaran ekonomi yang lebih efektif dan relevan. Penelitian ini memberikan wawasan berharga bagi para guru, pembuatan kebijakan, dan pengembangan teknologi pendidikan. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan subjek penelitian ini adalah guru dan siswa.  Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Google Classroom memberikan manfaat yang signifikan dalam efisiensi pengelolaan pembelajaran, terutama untuk mendukung aktivitas guru dan siswa secara daring. Tantangan utama yang ditemukan dalam penelitian ini adalah kendala teknis seperti terbatasnya akses internet di area tertentu yang mempengaruhi kelancaran pembelajaran dan kurangnya interaksi langsung dan dinamika kelas membuat mereka kurang termotivasi serta kurangnya minat belajar. Pembelajarannya menjadi kurang interaktif atau hanya berfokus pada pemberian pekerjaan rumah. Dukungan infrastruktur yang memadai dan pelatihan teknologi bagi guru dan siswa merupakan kebutuhan penting untuk mengatasi kendala tersebut. Google Classroom menawarkan peluang besar untuk mengembangkan metode pembelajaran Ekonomi berbasis proyek, diskusi real-time, dan analisis isu global. Dengan memanfaatkan fitur interaktif secara optimal, platform ini dapat mendukung pembelajaran yang lebih kritis, kolaboratif, dan relevan dengan kebutuhan era digital. Oleh karena itu, pemanfaatan Google Classroom dalam pembelajaran Ekonomi tidak hanya menjadi solusi teknis saja, namun juga membuka jalan bagi inovasi pembelajaran yang lebih modern dan efektif.
