Proses Peer Review

Paradigma Agribisnis is an electronic journal published by the Research Institute of Universitas Swadaya Gunung Jati. Every manuscript submitted to Paradigma Agribisnis undergoes a peer review process. Manuscripts submitted for the first time are initially screened by the editor and evaluated by the Editorial Board with regard to writing format, alignment with the focus and scope of Paradigma Agribisnis, methodological appropriateness, and plagiarism or similarity checks.

The Editor then sends the manuscript to at least two anonymous reviewers. The identities of the authors are not disclosed to the reviewers, and the identities of the reviewers are not disclosed to the authors (double-blind peer review). Reviewers assess the manuscript based on its contribution, originality, relevance, and quality of presentation. The reviewers’ comments are subsequently forwarded by the Section Editor to the authors for revision and further action.

The Editor will inform the authors of the review results as soon as possible, generally within approximately 30 to 60 days. Revised manuscripts will then be re-evaluated by the Section Editor to determine whether the revisions adequately address the reviewers’ comments. The Section Editor may also send the revised manuscript for further review if deemed necessary. The final decision regarding the acceptance of an article is made by the Editor based on the reviewers’ comments and recommendations.

Accepted research articles will be made available online for free download after completing the journal’s peer review process. Plagiarism detection for articles submitted to this journal is conducted using Turnitin. Authors are required to use Mendeley as their reference management tool. Articles may be written in either Indonesian or English.

Articles considered for publication will undergo a review process conducted by reviewers using a double-blind review system. The identities of the authors will not be disclosed to the reviewers, and vice versa. Reviewers will assess the suitability and quality of the articles based on the consistency and appropriateness of the title, abstract, introduction, discussion, and conclusion. Reviewers will also evaluate the originality and quality of the references cited in each article considered for publication.
