Abstract

CART (Classification and Regression Trees) merupakan salah satu metode atau algoritma dari salah satu teknik eksplorasi data yaitu teknik pohon keputusan. Berdasarkan hasil CART, untuk Negara Indonesia terdapat dua variabel yang dapat menjelaskan (atau berpengaruh) terhadap niat kewirausahaan yaitu variabel kemampuan, pengalaman dan skill dalam memulai usaha baru (suskill) dan presepsi akan adanya peluang untuk memulai usaha baru (opport). Nilai (1-APER) yang memiliki nilai lebih dari 70 persen mengindikasikan bahwa pohon klasifikasi yang terbentuk untuk ketiga negara cukup baik dalam menjelaskan variabel niat kewirausahaan.
