Hubungan job embeddedness dan task performance pada frontliner bank X dengan moderasi grit

Abstract


Abstract. The banking industry has experienced increasingly rapid development, where currently many types of banking companies have emerged. In improving a company's performance, support is needed through the enhancement of employee performance. In the banking industry, frontliners are the most important party as the backbone in achieving a bank's task performance. This research aims to examine the influence of job embeddedness on task performance and the role of grit in moderating job embeddedness on task performance. The participants of this study were frontliners at Bank X with a sample of 108 participants. Data were collected using a questionnaire using a Likert scale. Hypothesis testing was carried out using simple linear regression methods and Moderated Regression Analysis (MRA). Results of hypothesis testing show that job embeddedness has a significant and positive effect on task performance, while grit cannot play a role in moderating the relationship between job embeddedness and task performance.

Abstrak: Industri perbankan telah mengalami perkembangan yang semakin pesat dan modern, dimana saat ini sudah terdapat banyak macam perusahaan perbankan yang bermunculan. Dalam meningkatkan kinerja perusahaan tentunya diperlukan adanya dukungan dalam peningkatan kinerja dari setiap karyawannya. Dalam industri perbankan, frontliner menjadi pihak terpenting sebagai tulang punggung pencapaian task performance suatu bank. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji pengaruh job embeddedness terhadap task performance dan peran grit dalam memoderasi job embeddedness terhadap task performance. Populasi dalam penelitian ini merupakan tenaga frontliner pada Bank X dengan sampel sebanyak 108 partisipan. Pengumpulan data menggunakan kuesioner melalui google form dengan menggunakan skala likert. Pengujian hipotesis dilakukan dengan menggunakan metode regresi linear sederhana dan Moderated Regression Analysis (MRA). Hasil pengujian hipotesis menunjukkan bahwa job embeddedness berpengaruh secara signifikan dan positif terhadap task performance, sementara grit tidak dapat berperan dalam memoderasi hubungan antara job embeddedness dengan task performance.
