IMPLEMENTASI KEBIJAKAN PROGRAM KESEHATAN LINGKUNGAN OLEH DINAS KESEHATAN KABUPATEN KUNINGAN

Abstract

The implementation of environmental health program policies in hotels and restaurants in the Sangkanhurip and Linggarjati areas, Kuningan Regency that do not optimal is the main problem that will be discussed in this study. This can be seen from the lack of communication about environmental health programs, inadequate resources, the unresponsive attitude of policy implementers, and also the complicated bureaucratic structure at the Kuningan District Health Office. The successful implementation of environmental health program policies by the Kuningan District Health Office in hotels and restaurants in the Sangkanhurip and Linggarjati areas are influenced by some factors by Edwards III, such as communication, resources, dispositions / attitudes, and bureaucratic structures. If these factors are effective, the implementation of environmental health program policies by the Kuningan District Health Office in hotels and restaurants in the Sangkanhurip and Linggarjati areas will be successful. In this study, researchers used a qualitative descriptive method that aims to understand and find out facts in the field about the for implementing environmental health program policies for the Kuningan District Health Office in hotels and restaurants in the Sangkanhurip and Linggarjati areas and then describe it systematically. The results of this study indicate that the for implementing environmental health program policies by the Kuningan District Health Office in hotels and restaurants in the Sangkanhurip and Linggarjati areas has not been optimal, because the factors put forward by Edwards III have not been implemented effectively. This can be seen from various aspects, such as inadequate socialization to hotel and restaurant owners, very minimal facilities and budget, there are still some negative responses from the implementers, and communication failures between policy implementers, and policy implementation that are not in accordance with SOPs. This can cause the objectives of the environmental health program policy cannot be implemented optimally.
