A Comparative Analysis of Mathematical Literacy among Mathematics Education Students Based on Mathematics Anxiety Profiles

Literasi matematis merupakan kompetensi penting yang perlu dimiliki mahasiswa calon guru matematika. Salah satu faktor afektif yang diduga memengaruhi kemampuan tersebut adalah kecemasan matematika (mathematics anxiety). Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui perbedaan kemampuan literasi matematis mahasiswa Program Studi Pendidikan Matematika berdasarkan tingkat kecemasan matematika. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode komparatif terhadap 25 mahasiswa yang dipilih menggunakan teknik purposive sampling. Instrumen penelitian berupa angket kecemasan matematika dan tes kemampuan literasi matematis. Data dianalisis menggunakan statistik deskriptif, uji normalitas Shapiro–Wilk, uji homogenitas Levene, One-Way ANOVA, dan uji Post Hoc Tukey HSD. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa data memenuhi asumsi normalitas dan homogenitas. Analisis One-Way ANOVA menunjukkan bahwa tidak terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan pada kemampuan literasi matematis berdasarkan tingkat kecemasan matematika (F(2,22) = 0,631; p = 0,541). Hasil uji Post Hoc Tukey HSD juga menunjukkan bahwa seluruh pasangan kelompok memiliki nilai signifikansi lebih besar dari 0,05. Meskipun demikian, secara deskriptif terlihat kecenderungan penurunan rata-rata skor literasi matematis seiring meningkatnya tingkat kecemasan matematika. Dengan demikian, tingkat kecemasan matematika pada penelitian ini belum terbukti membedakan kemampuan literasi matematis mahasiswa secara signifikan. Penelitian selanjutnya disarankan menggunakan jumlah sampel yang lebih besar serta mempertimbangkan faktor-faktor lain yang memengaruhi kemampuan literasi matematis.
