Peran Mediasi Motivasi Berwirausaha dan Efikasi Diri dalam Hubungan antara Pendidikan Kewirausahaan terhadap Minat Berwirausaha Pada Mahasiswa

Tingginya jumlah lulusan perguruan tinggi yang menganggur menunjukkan perlunya mendorong minat berwirausaha sebagai salah satu alternatif pilihan karier bagi mahasiswa. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji bagaimana pendidikan kewirausahaan membentuk minat berwirausaha mahasiswa, dengan motivasi berwirausaha dan efikasi diri sebagai mekanisme mediasi. Penelitian dilakukan pada Program Studi Pendidikan Bisnis, Fakultas Keguruan dan Ilmu Pendidikan, Universitas Sebelas Maret, Surakarta, dengan melibatkan 150 mahasiswa angkatan 2022 dan 2023 yang telah atau sedang menempuh mata kuliah kewirausahaan. Data dikumpulkan melalui kuesioner daring menggunakan skala Likert lima poin dan dianalisis secara kuantitatif menggunakan Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) dengan bantuan SmartPLS 4.0. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pendidikan kewirausahaan berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap minat berwirausaha, motivasi berwirausaha, dan efikasi diri. Motivasi berwirausaha juga berpengaruh positif terhadap minat berwirausaha dan efikasi diri, sedangkan efikasi diri memberikan pengaruh positif yang signifikan terhadap minat berwirausaha. Selain itu, motivasi berwirausaha memediasi hubungan antara pendidikan kewirausahaan dengan minat berwirausaha maupun efikasi diri. Efikasi diri juga memediasi pengaruh pendidikan kewirausahaan dan motivasi berwirausaha terhadap minat berwirausaha. Lebih lanjut, motivasi berwirausaha dan efikasi diri secara bersama-sama membentuk jalur mediasi berantai yang menjelaskan pengaruh pendidikan kewirausahaan terhadap minat berwirausaha. Secara keseluruhan, temuan ini menunjukkan bahwa pendidikan kewirausahaan meningkatkan minat berwirausaha mahasiswa melalui jalur langsung maupun tidak langsung dengan memperkuat motivasi berwirausaha dan efikasi diri. Oleh karena itu, perguruan tinggi didorong untuk merancang pengalaman pembelajaran kewirausahaan yang mampu meningkatkan motivasi serta kepercayaan diri mahasiswa dalam meniti karier sebagai wirausaha.
