PUBLICATION ETHICS

J-ICET (Journal of Informatics, Computer and Engineering Technology) is a scientific journal established by the Department of Informatics, Faculty of Engineering, Swadaya Gunung Jati University to provide a platform for academics and researchers to publish their scientific works to a wider audience. J-ICET is an online scientific journal that publishes articles or scientific works resulting from research in the fields of informatics, computer science, and engineering technology.

This scientific publication ethics statement is a code of ethics for all parties involved in the publication process of this scientific journal, namely the managers, editors, reviewers, and authors. The Code of Ethics for Scientific Publications essentially upholds three ethical values in publication, namely (i) Neutrality, which is freedom from conflicts of interest in publication management; (ii) Fairness, which is granting authorship rights to those entitled to be authors; and (iii) Honesty, which is freedom from duplication, fabrication, falsification, and plagiarism in publication.

Please sign and submit the Ethics Statement as part of your initial article submission or during the copyediting phase. The Copyright Agreement must be submitted before the article can be published. The Ethics Statement and Copyright Agreement can be sent by post, email, or fax.
