About the Journal

JURNAL SIGNAL is a scholarly journal in the field of communication studies that provides an academic platform for researchers, industry professionals, consultants, managers, educators, and policymakers to publish and disseminate innovative work in communication. All submitted articles undergo a blind review process to ensure the scholarly quality of the publication. Accepted articles are published twice a year and are available online through an open access system, while print versions are available upon request.

JURNAL SIGNAL is accessible online through its official website: https://jurnal.ugj.ac.id/index.php/Signal. Since 2022, the journal has been nationally accredited as Sinta 3 and has maintained this status to date. In support of academic visibility and scholarly dissemination, Jurnal Signal is indexed in Index Copernicus, Google Scholar, and Sinta.

The journal invites authors to submit manuscripts that fall within its focus and scope. Authors are encouraged to carefully read and understand the information regarding the peer review process, author guidelines, and article template before submission. Manuscripts that do not comply with the guidelines or fail to follow the required format will be rejected by the editorial team at the initial screening stage before entering the review process. Only manuscripts that meet the specified formatting requirements will be processed further. The final decision regarding the acceptance or rejection of a manuscript rests with the Editorial Board based on the recommendations of the reviewers.

JURNAL SIGNAL is published twice a year, covering the periods of January–June and July–December, and accepts articles in both Indonesian and English. The journal’s ISSN is 2580-1090, and its E-ISSN is 2337-4454.
