About the Journal

Jurnal Ilmiah Publika (JIP) is an open-access journal that uses a double-blind peer review published twice a year by Faculty of Social and Political Sciences, Universitas Swadaya Gunung Jati. The purpose of this journal is to contribute and disseminate thoughts from a theoretical and empirical perspective in social, politics, society and humanities at a regional, national, and global scale.

Authors are invited to submit manuscripts that fall within the scope of the Jurnal Ilmiah Publika. Please read and understand the information on the peer-review process and the author's guidelines for the preparation of the manuscript. The author who submits a manuscript to the editors should comply with the author's guidelines and template. If the submitted manuscript does not comply with the guidelines or uses a different format, it will be rejected by the editorial team before being reviewed. The editorial team will only accept a manuscript that meets the specified formatting requirements. Hence, whether the scientific paper is accepted or not will be the Editorial Board's right based on the peer reviewer's recommendation.

The JIP welcomes contributions from researchers, scholars, practitioners, policymakers, and students engaged in social and political inquiry, as well as those addressing cross-disciplinary intersections.

Peer Review Process

An article is rejected for publication due to various considerations, including the article does not comply with the scope of Public Policy; Public Management; Public Services; Bureaucracy; Community Empowerment; Local Government; Politics; Government Governance, and the scientific side of the article is inadequate to be classified as a scientific paper, fundamental methodological errors, or because the author refuses to carry out the suggestions for improvement given by the reviewer without a logical basis. All articles submitted will be checked for plagiarism elements using anti-plagiarism software (Turnitin).
