This study aimed to analyze the implications of conversations in the comedy talk show "The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon" episode "Paul McCartney Sings The Beatles' Harmony, Talks to John Lennon & Obama Performance, Fallon Flashback". The research method uses a descriptive qualitative approach with pragmatic analysis based on the theory of Grice's Principle of Cooperation (1975). The results showed two dominant types of implications: Generalized Conversational Implicature (GCI, 60%), which creates universal humour, and Particularized Conversational Implicature (PCI, 40%), which requires specific contextual knowledge. Maximum violations (quality, manner, quantity, and relevance) are used as communication strategies to produce humorous effects, build closeness with the audience, and regulate emotional responses. These findings enrich the understanding of the pragmatic function of humour in entertainment media.
