ABSTRACT

            Jatigede project type is embankment , implementation earthwork dam body embankment  is a very complex job because it contains a degree of uncertainty (uncertainty) is very high, so it can not ensure the implementation can be run without any changes or deviations from the plan. Dam body embankment specifically designed in accordance with the conditions of the location and availability of construction materials in the location.Elevasi lighthouse dam: El. +265, Dam length: 1715m, dam lighthouse Width: 12m, Height maximum dam: 110 m, Volume heap: 6,700. 000 m³.


Earthworks (cut and fill) on the dam body requires planning field (site layout) are appropriate for the smooth progress of construction projects. Field projects play an important role in the selection of the type and composition of the selection of tools and construction methods to be used. Implementation of cut and fill work on the review in three area: borrow area, quarry and crusher.

            Results using linear programming optimization method with the help of software POM-QM, is as follows: (1) The type and arrangement of heavy equipment used in the borrow area are: 1 CAT 320 excavator (2.3 m3) and 8 DT 15 m3 and 2 excavator PC200 (0.8 m3) and 13 DT 7m3. (2) The type and arrangement of heavy equipment used in the crusher are: 1 wheel loader CAT428 (2.50 m3) and 2 DT 20m3. (3) The type and arrangement of heavy equipment used in quarry area is: 1excavator FS6090 (52 m3) and 2 DT TR100 (57 m3) and (4) the total operational costs are minimized at the excavation and embankment dam embankment dam body Jatigede are: Rp.82.747.800, - + Rp.74.326.000, - Rp.462.797.800,-=Rp.619.871.600,-.
