PEMANFAATAN FENOMENA DALAM PEMBELAJARAN IPA SECARA INKUIRI UNTUK MENINGKATKAN PENGUASAAN KONSEP SAINS SISWA SEKOLAH DASAR

Many of the science education at elementary school so far still centered on teacher so that students just being passive object that assign to listen to the teacher. This make students feel bored and eventually reducing students motivation whereas they must have three dimension of science (knowledge, attitude, and process). This is a quasi experiment that implemented at an elementary school in Bandung city. Subject for this experiment are two group of grade 5 at this school as control and experiment classes with 30 students of each class. The result shows that an average of improvement N-Gain for concept master for experiment class is 0,42 and average of N-Gain for concept master control class is 0,22. According to the result of hipótesis test, we can conclude that learnign science through inkuiri that using phenomena can improve concept master student more than convensional learning. Based on the experiment that have been done, hope there will be continuation that experimenting about scientific attitude and motivation using this leraning method.
