I Ketut Sukanata, 2014. THE EFFORT TO PEST ATTACT PRVENTION OF BRUCHUS USE WITH BOTANICAL PESTICIDE. The effect of several kinds of botanical pesticidal treatment to protect of Seed storage of yardlong bean (Vigna unguiculata). The seed of leguminious crops particularly bushitao are easy to damage by seed borer, callosobruchusmaculates. Serious infestation of this insect may reduced germinating capacity of seeds up to 90% in s short time. It could damage the cotyledon ,epicotyle or hypocotyle part of the stem. So it could be a handcap on legume production and development programs. The treatment was conducted at Agriculture Faculty lab of Swadaya Gunung Jati Univbersity in December 2011 until to February 2012. The effort of keeping for long time stronge of bushitao seeds was tried by means of using several kinds of pesticidal plants such as : Azadirachta indica leaf, Pachirrhizus erosus and Leucena leucocaphala leaf powders compared with corn oil and Sevin 85 S. seeds were mixed homogeneusly by those plant material powder. Result of this experiment showed that corn oil and Sevin 85 S are the best. But, corn oil is recommendable due to not harmful to human being. Pachyrhizuz eresus seeds has potential for seed treatment.
