Analisis Keputusan Berasuransi berdasarkan Faktor Motivasi Menabung, Literasi Keuangan dan Persepsi Individu

Abstract


Abstract. Insurance is an agreement where an individual or entity receives financial protection from an insurance company as a guarantor. However, not everyone has the same thought to protect themselves using insurance. This study aims to examine the effect of three variables: saving motivation, financial literacy and individual perceptions of insurance decisions. This study uses a quantitative method, using data as material for analysis, exposure to the review conducted using a questionnaire as a source of data. The questionnaire was then distributed to 199 respondents using convenience sampling techniques. Data collection is done first, and then the data is processed using log-it regression in the SPSS application for Windows. The results of this study indicate that saving motivation, financial literacy and individual perceptions have a significant influence on insurance decisions. Based on the results of this research, the conclusion that can be drawn is that these three variables of saving motivation, financial literacy and individual perceptions has significant influence to improve to the community insurance decisions in social life.

Abstrak. Asuransi merupakan perjanjian dimana entitas atau individu menerima perlindungan keuangan dari perusahaan asuransi atas perjanjian sebagai pihak penanggung. Meskipun begitu, tidak banyak yang memiliki pemikiran untuk melindungi diri mereka menggunakan asuransi. Riset ini memiliki tujuan untuk menguji pada pengaruh tiga variabel untuk keputusan berasuransi yaitu motivasi menabung, literasi keuangan dan persepsi individu. Metode Kuantitatif adalah cara yang digunakan dalam riset ini, dengan menggunakan data sebagai bahan untuk analisis, paparan peninjauan yang dilakukan menggunakan kuesioner sebagai sumber data. Kuesioner tersebut kemudian disebarkan kepada 199 responden dengan menggunakan teknik convenience sampling. Pengumpulan data dilakukan terlebih dahulu, kemudian data diproses yaitu dengan menggunakan regresi log-it pada aplikasi SPSS untuk Windows. Riset ini mengarah pada hasil yang menyatakan bahwa motivasi menabung, Literasi keuangan dan persepsi individu mempunyai kekuatan besar dalam mempengaruhi sesorang untuk keputusan berasuransi. Berdasarkan hasil dari penelitian ini, dapat diambil kesimpulan bahwa ketiga variabel yaitu motivasi menabung, literasi keuangan dan persepsi individu memiliki pengaruh signifikan terhadap peningkatan keputusan berasuransi.
