Focus and Scope

Journal of Green Science and Technology (JGST) published since 2017 by Faculty of Engineering Universitas Swadaya Gunung Djati (UGJ) Cirebon with p-ISSN 2598-1277 and e-ISSN 2621-3966. JGST is a peer reviewed journal published twice a year in March and September.

JGST accepts and publishes multidisciplinary research and critical review of issues that contains of all scientific works related to the field of following Sciences Engineering:

- Civil Engineering

- Architectural Engineering

- Environmental Engineering

- Chemical Engineering

- Mechanical Engineering

- Electrical Engineering

- Urban and Regional Planning

- Industrial Engineering

- Informatics Engineering, etc.

All manuscripts must be written in English.

Peer Review Process

Journal of green science and technology is openly accept article from the widest range that  contain suitable to scientific works related to the field of Sciences Engineering , and the applications are suitable to this purpose of thus journal. All manuscripts submitted to this journal must follow focus and scope, and author guidelines of this journal.

All received manuscripts will be involved in an initial screening process relating to the standard format and its relevancy to the JGST scope and research areas. First, after received the manuscript, the editor-in-chief will assign section editor to do the screening process. The initial screening results will be sent within 2 weeks after submission by the section editor. The author(s) will be notified if the manuscript does not conform the standard format of the journal writing and asked to rewrite and resubmit to be included in the next process. The irrelevant manuscripts will be rejected directly as the editor-in-chief receives it.

Second, the section editor will do plagiarims screening. The successful screened manuscript in the initial screening process is then scanned for its originality through turnitin software. Once, it is completed, the manuscript will be sent to external reviewers/experts in the field. The process of reviews may take, at least 2-4 weeks after the manuscripts sent to the reviewers.The results of the reviews will be sent to the JGST Editors.

Finally, by considering the results of the reviews, the editor-in-chief will decide the submission into standard decisions:

  1. Accept
  2. Accept with revisions
  3. Submit for review
  4. Submit elsewhere
  5. Decline or See comments

The accepted manuscripts will be directly scheduled for publication and will only be published after the publication fees are received. When the decision is "revision required", the author(s) has to make the revision based on the reviewer's comments. All comments and files will be attached in the author's account (dashboard). The delay of the revision will result the delay of the publication. So, author(s) has to ensure that the revision should be as soon as possible. When the decision is rejected, the authors can make some revision and are suggested to send it to other journals.


 

Publication Frequency

JGST is published twice a year in March and September.

 

Open Access Policy

This journal provides immediate open access to its content on the principle that making research freely available to the public supports a greater global exchange of knowledge.

 

Archiving

This journal utilizes the LOCKSS system to create a distributed archiving system among participating libraries and permits those libraries to create permanent archives of the journal for purposes of preservation and restoration.

Journal of Green Science and Technology also stores back issues and current articles following LOCKSS idea of keeping lots of copies of our items on several servers to keep them safe. Archives are digitally submitted to Indonesian National Library's Garuda. Published issues are also sent to Lembaga Ilmu Pengetahuan Indonesia (LIPI), the Indonesian Institute of Sciences to be retained in its repository.
