Focus and Scope

The aim of Euclid, p-ISSN 2355-1712 and e-ISSN 2541-4453, is to provide a national forum for sharing, dissemination and discussion of research, experience and perspectives across a wide range of pure and applied mathematics, education, teaching, development, instruction, educational projects and innovations, learning methodologies, and new technologies in mathematics education. The Journal invites original articles and not simultaneously submitted to another journal or conference. The whole spectrum of research in pure mathematics, applied mathematics, and mathematics education are welcome, which includes, but not limited to the following topics: Mathematics Learning Model, Measurement, Assesment and Evaluation in Mathematics Teaching, Design/Development Research in Mathematics Education, Mathematics Ability, Information and Communication Technology (ICT) in Mathematics Education, Ethnomathematics. Applied Mathematics: Environmental Mathematics, Industrial Mathematics, Computational Mathematics, Mathematical Economics, Financial Mathematics, Statistics. Pure Mathematics: Algebra, Geometry, Analysis, Discrete Mathematics/ Combinatorics.

Papers published in the six-monthly journal (January and July):
(1) report evaluation and research findings;
(2) treat conceptual and methodological issues; and/or
(3) consider the implications of the above for action; and/or
(4) an extensive book reviews section and also occasional reports on educational materials and equipment.

Peer Review Process

Submitted papers are evaluated by anonymous referees for contribution, originality, relevance, and presentation (double-blind review). Reviewers will consider the feasibility of the articles viewed from the suitability of title, abstract, introduction, discussion and conclusion. The reviewer will also see the originality and reference quality of each article to be published. The Editor shall inform you of the results of the review as soon as possible, hopefully in 30 to 60 days. Plagiarism detection of articles in this journal is carried out by using plagiarismcheckerx.com (Web Checker) and Mendeley as a Tool Reference Manager.

Jadwal penerbitan 4 kali setahun yaitu bulan Januari, April, Juli dan Oktober.

Euclid is a journal which is published by the Research Department of the University of Swadaya Gunung Jati (Unswagati). Euclid is published in print and online (open Journal System / OJS) in 2014. Euclid publishes manuscript articles twice a year (January and July), containing articles in Mathematics Learning Model, Measurement, Assesment and Evaluation in Mathematics Teaching, Design/Development Research in Mathematics Education, Mathematics Ability, Information and Communication Technology (ICT) in Mathematics Education, Ethnomathematics. Applied Mathematics: Environmental Mathematics, Industrial Mathematics, Computational Mathematics, Mathematical Economics, Financial Mathematics, Statistics. Pure Mathematics: Algebra, Geometry, Analysis, Discrete Mathematics/ Combinatorics with reference to scientific research standards and procedures established by the editorial board for publication. Manuscript articles can come from researchers, academics, practitioners, lecturers, students and other.

Ethics and Polecy Publication of Euclid are:

  1. The manuscript of the article has an updated and guaranteed originality by the author and has not been published previously in other journals / proceedings and / or other publications.
  2. The manuscript of the article is the result of research through quantitative, qualitative and or Mix Method Research approach.
  3. The manuscript is the result of research / research in the field of accounting science with topics of Mathematics Learning Model, Measurement, Assesment and Evaluation in Mathematics Teaching, Design/Development Research in Mathematics Education, Mathematics Ability, Information and Communication Technology (ICT) in Mathematics Education, Ethnomathematics. Applied Mathematics: Environmental Mathematics, Industrial Mathematics, Computational Mathematics, Mathematical Economics, Financial Mathematics, Statistics. Pure Mathematics: Algebra, Geometry, Analysis, Discrete Mathematics/ Combinatorics.
  4. Contribute both theoretically and practically to the development of Science and Technology measured from the update of the findings / ideas / ideas of thought with emphasis on the primary library source referred to in the last 10 years.
  5. The manuscript of the article in the form of research results with quantitative approach, qualitative, and mix method research empirically. The sharpness of analysis and synthesis is critically important.
  6. Implementation in the review process by the editorial board is implemented gradually from the secretariat, executing editor and expert editor. In addition, the review is conducted in a blind-review using peer group system. Peer group system is done with the composition of 2 people from external parties and 1 person from internal parties, and strengthened by the best partner who qualified in their field.
  7. Articles written in established rules or style selingkung and editorial board reserves the right to revise the style selingkung with a note does not change the intent and quality of the article.
  8. A manuscript article that uses research with primary or experimental data should include the questionnaire used.
  9. Authors are required to send the results of the data and the original table and image files sent to the secretariat of the editorial board of the journal.
  10. Assessment of the final results of the article can be:
    1. The manuscript of the article is accepted without repairs.
    2. The manuscript of the article was received with repairs.
    3. Recommended article submitted to other appropriate journals.
    4. The article script was rejected for not being eligible.

 

Plagiarism Check

Articles submitted to Euclid will be screened for plagiarism check using a turnitin plagiarism detection tool or plagiarism checker. Euclid will immediately reject articles that are indicated to be plagiarism or self-plagiarism.

Before submitting articles to reviewers, first check the similarity / plagiarism tools by members of the editorial team. Articles submitted to Euclid must have a similarity rate of less than 25%.
