Abstract

This research seeks to evaluate the efficacy of employing Canvabased learning tools, specifically interactive videos, to enhance the
explanatory writing abilities of elementary school pupils through a
behaviorism framework. The incorporation of digital technology in
education is a crucial requirement for addressing the challenges of
21st-century learning and specifically enhancing students' literacy
abilities. This research employs a qualitative descriptive
methodology with a systematic literature review (SLR) strategy,
incorporating the examination of diverse literary sources including
journals, articles, books, and relevant research papers. The research
revealed that using Canva-based interactive videos enhances
students' comprehension and writing abilities by delivering
educational content in a more engaging, interactive, and
comprehensible manner. The behaviorism method centered on
reinforcement and repetitive practice has proven to be effective in
enhancing student motivation and involvement in the learning
process. Nonetheless, its execution encounters multiple obstacles,
such as insufficient technological infrastructure and a deficiency in
teacher proficiency in creating digital educational resources.
Addressing these challenges, the implementation of Canva-based
interactive videos offers a creative way to enhance the quality of
explanatory text education in elementary schools. The findings of this
research intend to aid in the creation of more efficient and creative
educational tools in the digital age.
